Halong Phoenix Cruiser

Morning

8:00 – 8:30: Pick up guests at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee). After that, we travel for 2.5 hours to reach Halong Bay via highway.

11:45 – 12:00: A tender boat will take you to the Halong Phoenix Cruiser at Lot 27 Tuan Chau International Marina. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, and you can check into your cabin.

The boat glides to the center of Halong Bay World Heritage Site. Your lunch at the restaurant would be served with fresh local seafood (vegetable menu available). 

Witness the stunning scenery while passing by Dog Head, Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating Villages, Incense Burner, and Thumb Islands before reaching the Luon Cave area.

Afternoon

We have time to gear up for one hour of kayaking around the Luon Cave. Your guide will show you some basic safety guidelines and paddle techniques before helping you sit on the sit-on-top kayaks. 

Now, you may leisurely sail in the peaceful green lake like a mirror throughout the year and look at the impressive stalagmite system here.

After that, guests will visit Titop Island for swimming and sunbathing to unwind. If you like being active, let’s hike to the island’s peak to get a panoramic view of Halong Bay.

As the sun sets over the bay, we return to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea, and fruits will be available on the sundeck. You can order your favorite drink while our boat cruises to the night’s anchorage area. 

Evening

Dinner will be served with local seafood. Enjoy your meal, then have leisure time later. You may choose to enjoy drinks from the bar or get on the top deck to experience squid fishing before resting in your cabin.

Morning

Enjoy the morning view of Halong Bay’s beautiful landscape with a cup of coffee or tea, then have breakfast afterward.

You will visit one of the most impressive Cave of Halong Bay – Sung Sot Cave (Surprising in English) with your tour guide. Walking inside, you‘ll have a chance to witness the marvelous stalactites and stalagmites in the 2 giant chambers here. 

Return to Phoenix Cruise to relax, check out of your cabin around 10:00, and settle your bill. Later, join a cooking demonstration to see how to make authentic Vietnamese Spring rolls. Let’s learn about the recipes and techniques that create this popular dish.

Lunch will be served on board while the boat cruises towards the harbor.

11:20: Depart the Phoenix Cruise and travel by tender boat back to Tuan Chau Marina, where you board the bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) for your return journey to Hanoi. 

Afternoon

Arrive at your hotel in the Old Quarter around 14:30 – 15:00. Time to drop off. This is the end of the trip!

08:00 – 08:30: If you request the pickup service (book in the next step with an additional fee), wait for your driver at your hotel in Hanoi, get on the shuttle bus, and depart to Halong Bay.

Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina at around 11:45 – 12:30. You will be transferred to Phoenix Cruise by a tender boat. Have a welcome drink, then check in your cabin.

Enjoy your lunch with fresh local seafood at the restaurant on board (vegetable menu available) while the boat sails into Halong Bay.

During your meal, sightsee the bay’s famous spots, such as Dog Head, Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating Villages, Incense Burner, and Thumb Islands.

Afternoon 

Get your guide’s safety guidelines and paddling techniques and experience kayaking in Luon Cave for 1 hour to explore this unspoiled place. Time to be in harmony with nature. You can touch the sea or observe the flower stalactites under the cave’s dome.

Afterward, enjoy swimming in the emerald blue water of Titop Island. Sunbathing on the white sandy beach or climbing up to the top for a panoramic view of Halong Bay is also ideal.

Back to the cruise to relax and enjoy the glorious sunset. Tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck, or you can drink at the bar while Phoenix Cruise sails to the anchorage area.

Evening

After a long day, let’s enjoy a tasty local seafood dinner in the restaurant on board. Then, you can try squid fishing or drink cocktails at the bar.

Morning

Wake up early to view the majestic sunset of Halong Bay. This is the perfect chance for one-of-a-kind pictures.

Recharge your energy with coffee or tea, then enjoy breakfast in the bay’s fresh air.

Leave the Phoenix Cruiser on a day boat and cruise to the southern part of Halong Bay. This route will pass by famous islands like Frog, Chop Stick Island, and Ba Trai Dao. 

The boat stops at the pretty Dark & Bright Cave, where you will go kayaking and explore the unspoiled. Let’s enjoy a refreshing moment while sailing on the water, breathing in the fresh air, and seeing the harmonious landscape of the sea, sky, and mountains.

Optional: Based on the operation and weather conditions, you can visit Dark Cave, another famous Cave.

Get back to the day boat to relax and have tasty seafood dishes for lunch.

Afternoon

Have free time swimming on the stunning beach of Ba Trai Dao Area. As an airtight spot, this place will bring you a tranquil experience. Let’s immerse in the gentle waves and cool water under the high sky to wash away your worries.

The cruise will take you to the famous Pearl Farm of Halong Bay. Here, you can learn the process of growing and cultivating pearls. If you want to buy gifts for your family, visit the shop here and buy some pearl jewelry. 

Get back to the day boat and return to Phoenix Cruiser, anchored near Titop Island. Guests can go to the top deck to enjoy cocktails, and fresh fruits and relax in their free time while the sun sets in the magnificent bay.

Reward yourself after an active day with delicious local seafood. After dinner, you may choose to enjoy drinks from the bar, get to the top deck, or experience squid fishing before sleeping in your cabin.

Have a light breakfast with tea and coffee in the stunning landscape of the bay.

Head to one of the largest caves in Halong Bay – Sung Sot Cave. You will follow a knowledgeable guide to learn about its long history and see the variety of rock formations in the cave.

Get back on the cruise to settle your bill and check out your cabin at 10:00. For the remainder, you can take photos of the pretty Fighting Cocks Island, Incense Burner, and Stone Dogs Islands.

After that, let’s participate in a Vietnamese cooking class to make authentic Spring rolls, simple and delicious dishes of the Viet.

Have a warm lunch in the dining area before approaching Tuan Chau Port.

11:20: Say goodbye to the friendly crew. Depart the cruise, travel back to Tuan Chau Marina by tender, and wait for your bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) to return to Hanoi.
