Most Halong Bay day cruises serve a Vietnamese–Western buffet and add one or two vegetarian plates. Halong Heritage Signature runs two separate Indian set menus: vegetarian (Dal Tadka, Aloo Matar curry, Kadai Veg, butter roti and butter naan) and non-vegetarian (Murgh chicken curry and Amritsari fish). Getting from Hanoi to Halong Heritage Signature Day Cruise
Tuan Chau is about 170 km from Hanoi, 2.5–3 hours each way on the expressway with one rest stop. Round-trip transfer from the Old Quarter is available in two types:
- Limousine van (19–22 seats): wider reclining seats, Wi-Fi and USB charging.
- Shuttle bus (up to 30 seats): the lower-cost option.

- Pre-order Indian food when you book, not on the boat. The galley shops for set menus before departure day.
- Wear trainers. Sung Sot Cave has uneven steps, and the Ti Top viewpoint is a climb of about 400 steps.
- Pack a swimsuit and a light towel for Ti Top beach and the jacuzzi. Swimming is best from May to October.
- Book the limousine, not the shuttle, if you have older parents or small children: the 5–6 hours on the road are easier.

- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
