What Makes Azura Cruise Different
Every suite has a balcony and an ocean-view bathtub
Even the entry Baylight Suite is 34 m² with a private balcony and a bathtub set against the window, so you can soak while the karsts slide past. Many ships in this price range keep bathtubs for their upper categories only.
A 12-metre four-season infinity pool plus a jacuzzi
The infinity pool is heated for year-round use, and a jacuzzi sits beside the sundeck for the sunset happy hour. Both are included for every guest, not only suite holders.
Small for its size: 30 suites on an 80-metre ship
Azura is a large ship carrying only 30 suites (64 guests at most overnight), which leaves room for a 265 m² restaurant, a spa and sauna, a fitness room, a lounge and the open-air Sol & Sea Sky Bar.
Two Imperial Suites with a private sauna
The two 66 m² Imperial Suites add a private terrace with sun loungers, a sauna, a smart toilet, a minibar and VIP dining in the restaurant, a rare combination on Lan Ha Bay.

Who Azura Cruise Is Best For
Book it if you are
- A couple or honeymooners who want a bathtub with a view in every category
- A family of three: Baylight and Horizon both have triple-bed suites
- A traveller who wants a brand-new ship on the quieter Lan Ha Bay route
- A guest who will use a pool: the infinity pool works in all four seasons
Choose another cruise if you want
- Certified halal food on board: see our halal Halong Bay cruises
- The classic Halong Bay sights such as Sung Sot Cave and Ti Top Island; Azura sails to Lan Ha Bay instead
- A day trip only: Azura runs overnight cruises

Azura Cruise vs Similar Lan Ha Bay Luxury Cruises
| Cruise | Route | Cabins | Signature | Price level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Azura Cruise | Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay | 30 suites (2025) | Bathtub and balcony in every suite, 12 m infinity pool, Imperial Suites with sauna | $$ |
| Diana Cruise | Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay | 56 cabins (2025) | Certified halal food, larger ship | $$ |
| Capella Cruise | Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay | 30 cabins (2020) | Established boutique luxury ship | $$$ |
| Lyra Grandeur Cruise | Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay | 33 cabins (2025) | Certified halal food, top-end suites | $$$ |
Our view: Azura gives the most bathtub-with-a-view for the money on this route, because even its entry suite has one. Choose Diana or Lyra Grandeur if certified halal food matters, and compare all options on our Lan Ha Bay cruises page.
Not to be confused with
Azura Cruise in Vietnam is a Halong Bay overnight ship. It is not related to Azura, the ocean cruise ship of the British line P&O Cruises, which often appears in searches for “Azura cruise ship”.
Local Expert Notes from Our Hanoi Team
These tips come from more than a decade of arranging Halong Bay trips for international travellers; ship details are checked against Azura Cruise’s published 2026 information.
- The Horizon Suites on the 2nd deck sit higher than the Baylight Suites, so the balcony view is wider for a small price step
- Only two Imperial Suites exist; book them early for honeymoons and anniversaries
- There are four triple suites in total, so families of three should book as soon as dates are fixed
- Choose 3 days if you want to see village life in Viet Hai and swim at Ba Trai Dao
- Holiday nights (30 April, 1 May, 1–2 September, 24 and 31 December, Lunar New Year) carry a surcharge
