Cycad Grand Cruise is a new 32-suite cruise from Cycad Cruise Group that opened in October 2026, sailing from Halong International Cruise Port into quiet Bai Tu Long Bay. Every suite has a private sea-view balcony, the ship has an outdoor swimming pool, an on-board spa and a restaurant and sundeck area of up to 1,000 m², and the route visits Vung Vieng Fishing Village and Thien Canh Son Cave. Bai Tu Long Bay instead of the busy central bay
Cycad Grand sails the north-eastern side of Halong Bay, where far fewer boats anchor. The operator says the route also gives about 1.5 hours more cruising time than standard itineraries.

3 Days 2 Nights: adds Cap La and Hang Thay
Day 1 and the final morning match the 2-day cruise. On Day 2, after Tai Chi, breakfast and a morning kayak, a day boat takes you to the Cap La area in the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay for kayaking, swimming and a cave visit at Hang Thay, with a local lunch on the day boat. You are back on Cycad Grand by about 14:30 for a second evening in the Cong Do area.

Getting from Hanoi to Cycad Grand Cruise
The shared limousine picks up at hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter between 07:30 and 08:30 and reaches Halong International Cruise Port by 11:40, returning to Hanoi in the afternoon. Shuttle and private car prices are in the Transportation tab; private cars can be arranged. Travelling on your own, be at the port by 11:40.

- Wear sports shoes for the climb to Thien Canh Son Cave on the final morning
- On the 3-day cruise you spend most of Day 2 on a day boat, so pack swimwear and sunscreen in a day bag
