At 07:50 – 08:30, a luxury limousine (book in the next step with an additional fee) will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and take a 2.5-hour departure on the new highway to the cruise port.

Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina around 11:30, please complete check-in procedures at the waiting lounge before transferring to the Nostalgia Cruise by tender boat.

A warm welcome aboard the cruise! Then, let’s check in, take a seat, and enjoy your welcome drink while receiving a cruise briefing & safety instructions explained by the cruise manager.

During lunchtime, relish a delicious meal while the Nostalgia Cruise moves further to Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay.

Sail to Ao Ech, the best place for kayaking with a sense of tranquility, like stepping into a secluded “little paradise” away from the outside world. Gliding across calm waters amid untouched natural surroundings, you will feel as if you are uncovering a hidden corner of the bay.

Back to the boat, Nostalgia Cruise anchors for an overnight stay at Tra Bau, situated within the unspoiled expanse of Lan Ha Bay. This specific region offers a pure, unspoiled scenery that beckons exploration.

You can relax on the top deck and watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin, join a cooking demonstration, or enjoy Happy Hour at the bar.

Otherwise, participate in night activities such as listening to music, playing cards, watching movies, or trying your luck with squid fishing.

Embrace the start of your second day aboard the Nostalgia Cruise Halong Bay with a revitalizing Tai Chi session. 

Following the session, head to the cruise’s restaurant for a light breakfast that promises to awaken your senses and energize you for the final attraction on your journey with Nostalgia.

Progress by bus to Trung Trang Cave, which is dubbed a masterpiece of Mother Nature dedicated exclusively to Cat Ba Island. With a majestic landscape with thousands of natural stalactites, the cave definitely leaves you in awe. 

At around 9:45 – 10:00, it’s time to come back to the cruise, pack your belongings, and prepare for checkout procedures. While the cruise makes its way back to Tuan Chau Marina, please enjoy a delightful brunch and spend every last moment reflecting on your memorable trip. 

When reaching the quayside between 11:00 and 11:30, it’s time to disembark the Nostalgia Cruise and bid farewell at Tuan Chau port.

A limousine will pick you up for a transfer to Hanoi. You’ll reach your hotel at roughly 15:00 after traveling for about 2.5 hours. Now, it’s the end of the trip.

Start a new day by joining Taichi’s class and let the fluid movements of this ancient practice awaken both body and mind. Then, recharge your energy with a nutritious breakfast before embarking on the morning excursion.

The next destination of today is one of the largest fishing villages in Vietnam – Viet Hai Village. You will move to a smaller dayboat to travel to this peaceful village, where we stroll around the idyllic enclave and see the fabulously rustic homes of the locals.

Upon arrival, you can choose to ride a bike or use an electric cart (at an extra cost) to discover rainforests, dark tunnels, and rice fields on the way.

In the village, you’ll have a chance to delve deep into the local life while visiting the ancient local house. Then, get back to the day boat and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Afternoon

In the early afternoon, you will visit the Dark & Bright Caves, a must-visit highlight of the bay. You can choose to sit on a bamboo boat rowed by local people or go kayaking to explore hidden lagoons and admire the bay’s majestic beauty up close.

Around 16:00-16:30, return to Nostalgia, and it’s up to you to spend time with the interesting cooking class on the sundeck or have a few drinks during the Happy Hour and admire the glorious sunset.
