What Makes Stellar of the Seas Cruise Different

Stellar of the Seas Cruise stands out for its all-in price: the Hanoi limousine, free-flow drinks with lunch and dinner, 24-hour snacks and light laundry are part of the fare, on a small 22-suite ship that feels uncrowded.

An all-in price with drinks and transfer

Soft drinks, juice, beer, cocktails, mocktails, tea and coffee are served without limit at lunch and dinner. Snacks and room service food are free around the clock, bottled water is refilled without limit, and four laundry items per room per night are washed free. The round-trip limousine between the Hanoi Old Quarter and Tuan Chau is included too.

Pool, mini golf and a sundeck bar

A seasonal pool of nearly 50 m² sits at the front of the third deck, facing the karsts. The fourth-deck sundeck has an outdoor bar and is used for early Tai Chi, while the mini golf course has a driving range, a green and a bunker, with a short golf class at sunrise.

Only 22 suites, all with outdoor space

With 22 suites and a maximum of 62 guests, Stellar of the Seas is smaller than most new luxury ships in Lan Ha Bay cruises. Every suite has full-length glass windows and a private balcony, and the three top suites have private sun terraces.

Local Expert Notes from Our Hanoi Team

These tips come from more than a decade of arranging Halong Bay trips for international travellers; ship details are checked against Stellar of the Seas’ published information and 2026–2027 rates.

  • Senior Suites on the second deck are quieter than first-deck Junior Suites for a small extra cost
  • The two Executive Suites and the President Suite sell out early; book 2–3 months ahead
  • The pool is seasonal; in the cool months, plan on the spa and sauna instead
  • Bring swimwear and light shoes for kayaking at Frog Lagoon and the Day 2 cave visit
